What should I book if I am not sure?

If you are unsure what to book, simply choose a session length- every session is fully customized to what your body is needing that day.

How Early Should I Arrive?

Please arrive 5 minutes before your session starts to ensure you get the full amount of hands on time. This allows you to settle in before your session begins.

What if I need to Cancel or Reschedule?

Life happens and I understand that sometimes plans change. Appointments canceled with less than 12 hours notice will be charged 50% of the total session cost. This fee covers time reserved specifically for your appointment that may not be able to be filled with short notice.

Where is Sacred Pine Located?

Sacred Pine is located at 209 East Plum Street between campus and Old Town. It is in a shared building with the Young People's Learning Center, look for the green door on the right that reads "office suites".  Please check your email or intake form for the door code.

Is Sacred Pine a Spa?

Sacred Pine is a private body work studio focused on massage centered around the nervous system. It is a calm environment designed to feel grounding, quiet, and restorative while offering therapeutic body work.

Do I have to Undress Fully?

You should always dress down to your comfort level. Some clients fully undress while others remain clothed. You will at all times remain properly draped throughout the entire session, only the area being worked on will be uncovered.

Is Prenatal Massage Safe?

Prenatal massage is generally considered safe throughout pregnancy for uncomplicated pregnancies when performed by a trained prenatal massage therapist using appropriate positioning and techniques. Every session at Sacred Pine is tailored to your stage of pregnancy, comfort level, and individual needs.

If you have a high-risk pregnancy, preeclampsia, clotting concerns, severe swelling, or have been placed on activity restrictions by your provider, please check with your healthcare team before booking.

When Should I Not Get a Massage?

Massage is not appropriate if you are experiencing fever, contagious illness, severe injury or sunburn, and with certain medical conditions.  If you are unsure if massage is safe for your body please reach out to a healthcare provider before booking.
